Description
A wood chipper is a machine used to crush pieces of wood or branches. It has a rotating disc with knives that shreds the inserted material, transforming it into wood chips. The material obtained from the chipper is used for the production of paper, it can also be used as litter or fuel.
The RT-630 disc chipper is designed for shredding branches, tree trunks with a diameter of up to 12 cm, and other wooden materials, e.g. sawmill cuts. The thickness of the obtained wood chips can be adjusted with four replaceable blades (made of wear-resistant steel), setting their position in relation to the counter-blade. The knives are bolted to a cutting disc with a diameter of 620 mm, which, thanks to its weight, gives it a swing.
The chipper is equipped with covers ensuring safe work. The discharge chimney can be rotated 360˚ to direct the flow of chips in the desired direction. The shredder is characterized by high efficiency and high comfort of work. The shavings obtained can be used as fuel (suitable for screw feeders) or as a composter or as bushes bedding.
The chipper is driven by the power transmission shaft from the tractor’s PTO (right-hand rotation). We recommend the use of power transmission shafts equipped with a shear pin clutch (available in our offer), in the event of overloading the machine, the pin is sheared and the drive is disengaged. Roller bearings are lubricated by callipers in the bearing housing.

What an excellent piece of kit! Well built, robust and very capable. I wasn’t sure having not heard of the make of machinery before but I need not have worried, i believe it is great value for money
